Fabric

When choosing fabric for your furniture, remember that each type of fabric has its own qualities and characteristics, which it is good to understand before you start using the furniture. On this page, you can see and read about the fabrics we offer in our collection.

Please note that the colour shades below can appear different from the real fabric colours.

The range of fabrics is suitable for private and public use. We place great emphasis on durability, wear resistance and functionality. All fabrics are therefore tested using standardised methods.

Please note that not all our furniture can be upholstered in all types of fabric. If you want your furniture in a fabric quality other than those shown, we may be able to help. Contact our customer service by phone or email for more information: +45 98 13 31 71, info@benthansen.net.

Please note that the colour representations are only indicative and may vary depending on your monitor. We recommend that you visit a retailer so you can see and feel the fabric in real life before making your choice.

To keep your upholstery looking good and prolong its lifespan, regular maintenance is necessary. Dust and dirt wear down the fabric and reduce any flame-retardant properties. You should therefore vacuum your upholstery frequently, preferably every week, at half-power where appropriate.

If you act quickly when accidents happen, you are more likely to clean up spills and prevent stains from forming. However, we cannot guarantee complete stain removal. Start by scraping off any liquids or hardened residue with a spoon and vacuum away any loose particles. Liquids should be soaked up with an absorbent napkin or cloth. If the stain is not grease-based, dab it gently with a lint-free cloth or sponge dampened in warm water and wrung out.

For commercial use, we recommend professional cleaning 2-3 times a year. If the fabric is used in private households, less frequent cleaning is usually sufficient.
