A touch of arts and crafts

The three cushions are upholstered with a unique piece of textile from British Morris & Co. The distinctive acanthus leaves were originally a wallpaper pattern designed by William Morris back in 1875. During the second half of the 1800’s, Morris was active in the British Arts and Crafts movement. As a reaction to mass production, the movement wanted to revive the aesthetic qualities of the craft industry and ensure goods of great quality.
